Four Port Authority police officers are being praised for springing into action after a bomb went off in Manhattan's Port Authority Bus Terminal on yesterday morning.

Reports say that rookie Anthony Manfredini saw people running as he was patrolling and called for backup. That brought officers Drew Preston, Jack Collins, and Sean Gallagher to the tunnel where the alleged terrorist accidentally set of his pipe bomb. After the blast, the four men subdued the bomber as he tried to grab his phone. Officials say the suspect might've been able to set off more explosives if the four officers didn't intervene.

Manfredini and Gallagher are former Marines and Preston an Army veteran.
